Obstruction Four fiberglass sonar targets are deployed in Halifax Harbour near Georges Island. A 20 cm x 60 cm seafloor cone will be deployed in 44 38.627N 063 33.427W. A 60 cm spherical water column will be deployed 5 metres off the seabed in 44 38.577N 063 33.367W. A 50 cm x 50 cm seafloor hollow cylinder will be deployed in 44 38.525N 063 33.333W. A 50 cm x 100 cm seafloor cylinder will be deployed in 44 38.408N 063 33.137W. The units will be fully submerged with no buoy lines attached and will be retrieved using divers following sonar demonstration. Caution.

Marine Works Wharf replacement operations underway at the St-Andrews Biological Station. Operations include demolition, dredging, blasting, placement of concrete caissons and installation of docks. Equipment on site include barges, work boats, cranes and excavators. A cautionary buoy has been placed approximately 40m from the work area.

The approximate center of the observed sandbar is in 46 46.052N 064 51.102W and is across width from buoys XX10 to XX11.
